ABOUT THE ACMS
The American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) is a membership organization comprised of rigorously trained skin cancer and reconstructive surgeons specializing in Mohs surgery, the most effective treatment for skin cancer today. The ACMS serves as the voice of the specialty, promoting and advancing the highest standards of patient care through fellowship training, research, education, and public advocacy
ABOUT ITSCC
The International Immunosupression & Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative (ITSCC) is an organization of dermatologic surgeons, clinicians, and researchers from multiple disciplines dedicated to advancing the care and understanding of skin cancer in organ transplant patients.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Provide executive-level administrative support to ACMS Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff colleagues. Position maintains high level of responsibility, exercising discretion and sound independent judgment in performing assigned tasks.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum 37.5 hrs/wk)
- Schedule and coordinate ACMS and ITSCC Executive Committee and Board meetings, including agenda preparation and meeting logistics (Zoom and onsite).
- Prepare minutes from Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings
- Work closely with Executive Director to facilitate leadership directed tasks.
- Oversight of the ACMS and ITSCC administrative functions
- Manage, strategic initiatives as assigned, including, but not to the ACMS national data registry and assigned committees
- Assist with task forces and special projects as needed
- Maintain and update ACMS & ITSCC Bylaws and policies & procedures in conjunction with the Board of Directors and committee chairs.
- Draft letters, correspondence and other materials with little direction.
- Work with internal departments (IS, TS, CS, Mail, Accounting, etc.) as needed for ACMS and ITSCC projects.
- Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Less than 2 weeks per year. Some early morning/evening and weekend work required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficient in Windows, MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with MS PowerPoint, and iMIS and/or MS Access a plus. Oral, written, organizational and proofreading skills essential.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (example – lifting, packaging, etc.)
Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required.
*This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office are a requirement of the role.
