At Serving Older Adults of Southeast Wisconsin Inc. (SOA) we envision a community where every adult 50 and better will be connected to the resources they need, and the opportunities that interest them, throughout the entire aging process. SOA manages five Senior Centers throughout Milwaukee County and creates and delivers educational, social, and recreational activities for older adults, including providing lunch five days per week for it’s participants. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Senior Center Managers to join our team at Kelly Senior Center, 6100 S. Lake Drive, Cudahy.  We are looking for candidates who are passionate about serving older adults, visionary about creating and expanding services to seniors, and have the ability to forge long-lasting community relationships within the surrounding area.

The Senior Center Manager oversees a variety of educational and leisure programming for older adults in addition to providing supervision to Program Coordinators, Custodians, Dining Staff, Instructors and Volunteers.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to inspire and lead staff in creative and effective programming and has the ability to expand and manage relationships with community partners  who share our mission and vision of providing quality service to seniors within the community.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, demonstrated experience in developing and fostering community partner relationships, at least two years supervisory experience, educational and leisure programming experience required, proficient computer skills, and experience producing timely and accurate reports.

Must be able to occasionally work evenings and weekends, have a valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle, and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Salary is $43,000/annually.
