Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the Vilas County and Oneida County Diversion Programs. This position includes the supervision of case management staff, updating policy and procedures, collecting and reporting out on data to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Councils and JusticePoint administration, organizing and staffing subcommittee groups, and providing back-up case management coverage. This role requires an understanding and commitment to the Wisconsin Diversion Standards and Evidence Based Practices.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise case management staff
  • Track and manage program referrals
  • Update diversion program policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community partners
  • Refer to & have knowledge of available community resources
  • Document and record all participant and program outcomes, compile data reports, and present data to stakeholder groups
  • Organize and staff subcommittee meetings
  • Attend JusticePoint Program Director meetings
  • Approve timecards and expense reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to communicate professionally & accurately, both orally and written
  • Organized, attentive to detail, ability to multi-task, work independently
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with criminal justice-involved clients preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals from diverse economic, racial,
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance required

Position Terms

  • Permanent full-time position
  • Salary position with benefits
  • 30 to 40 hours per week (generally, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
