Job Title: Program Operations Coordinator
Location: Street Angels Headquarters — 125 N. 120th Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53226
Schedule: Full-Time Monday through Friday, M/W/F: 9-5, T/TH: 10-6
Compensation: $20-$21 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits including $5,000 medical reimbursement and dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.

Founded in 2016, Street Angels is a mobile outreach organization dedicated to assisting individuals in ending their unsheltered homelessness by providing dignified services, advocacy, a consistent support system, connections to critical resources, and hope. Our compassionate staff and volunteers travel directly to those who are experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Milwaukee County to provide assistance in meeting immediate basic needs and long-term solutions. Position Summary
The Program Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Street Angels’ mobile outreach and shower trailer programs, ensuring they run efficiently and with dignity. This hands-on role involves overseeing all aspects of program operations — from maintenance and logistics to direct service delivery. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness, and skilled at balancing operational tasks with compassionate, face-to-face service. Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and self-motivation are essential. Current operations include mobile showers three days per week and outreach two days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with overall program operations, including preparation and organization for mobile outreach and Showers of Hope.
- Drive and/or assist with towing and the safe transport of 20-foot mobile shower trailer and supplies to outreach sites.
- Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of the mobile shower trailer
- Help manage and provide support to co-workers and volunteers during shower operations
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with individuals experiencing homelessness, volunteers, co-workers, and community partners
- Collaborate with volunteers and team members to ensure a positive and dignified experience for all guests
- Assist with routine safety checks and maintenance logs and scheduling for vehicles, facility, and equipment
- Keep vehicles and equipment clean and operating properly
- Assist with coordination of warehouse to ensure rotation and organization of supplies and cleanliness
- Assist with janitorial duties as needed
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Assist with pick-ups or drop-offs of community supplies/donations

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program operations, facilities management, outreach services, or a related field
- Basic mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment such as plumbing, water heaters, and generators (training can be provided)
- Confident in driving and maneuvering large vehicles or trailers (valid driver’s license required; CDL not required but considered a plus)

Skills & Abilities
- Familiarity with basic trailer hookup, towing, and safety procedures
- Experience working in outreach, social services, or nonprofit settings is a plus
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate maintenance logs and service reports
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with guests, volunteers, and partner agencies
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Compassionate and respectful approach toward individuals experiencing homelessness
