Lauber Community Partners is excited to conduct an exclusive search for a Director of Research & Evaluation at IMPACT. IMPACT is a private non-profit organization serving Southeastern Wisconsin since 1960 that helps individuals in crisis by guiding them to resources for stability.  IMPACT collaborates with community partners to improve systems through programs such as IMPACT 211 and IMPACT Connect. 

The Director of Research & Evaluation will lead community-based research and program evaluation across Southeastern Wisconsin. Reporting to the COO, this role oversees evaluation strategy, team leadership, partner engagement, and organization-wide data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead design and implementation of research and evaluation projects. 
  • Develop surveys, interviews, and other qualitative/quantitative data tools. 
  • Direct data analysis, interpretation, and reporting for diverse audiences. 
  • Supervise and mentor the Research & Evaluation team; manage multiple projects. 
  • Serve as a senior leader contributing to agency strategy and cross-team collaboration. 
  • Support proposal writing for government and foundation-funded projects. 
  • Build relationships with community partners and represent IMPACT at events. 
  • Stay current on best practices and support agency-wide DEI efforts. 

Qualifications 

  • Advanced degree in social or health sciences; strong research methods background. 
  • 10+ years of experience in human services research and evaluation. 
  • Expertise with data collection tools, statistical software, and qualitative analysis. 
  • Strong project management and supervisory experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data. 
  • Experience with nonprofit/government partners and federal evaluation requirements (e.g., GPRA).
