Job Title: Director of Community Housing Programs
Programs Supported: Homeless Prevention, Rapid-Rehousing, Community Case Management
Reports to: VP of Community Housing Programs
FLSA Status: Full-Time/Salaried
The Director of Community Housing Programs is responsible for leading the coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services for the Homeless Prevention, Rapid-Rehousing, and Community Case Management programs. This position will also research, develop and implement program curriculum. The Director of Community Housing Programs will supervise and direct assigned case management staff to ensure all program objectives are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and management of the Homeless Prevention, Rapid-Rehousing, and Community Case Management programs and staff.
- Manage a caseload up to 15 clients.
- Oversee the effective implementation of program activities to ensure all objectives are met.
- Maintain all landlord/tenant paperwork, Renewal Dates, Leases, Rent Checks, Leases and Rents.
- Fiscal monitoring and oversight of program operational budget.
- Ensure a safe, supportive atmosphere with access to high quality services for residents.
- Work collaboratively with case management staff to evaluate, research, develop, and implement curriculum.
- Manage overall programmatic budgets, and design and implement/coordinate staff training needs.
- Assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for assigned programs.
- Develop strategies to improve the overall processes and outcomes for assigned programs.
- Conduct staff observations and assess areas needed for improvement on a regular basis.
- Review case files and reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the grant requirements.
- Conduct weekly staffing meetings and other programmatic meetings as needed.
- Attend Coordinated Entry and other agency meetings as needed.
- Create and maintain current resource lists/information.
- Attend Guest House fundraisers and recognition events as scheduled.
- Create and distribute program evaluations to the clients and review with case management staff and VP of Community Housing Programs.
- Performing at quarterly chart audits.
- Assist with coordination of and participation in funding monitoring processes.
- Participate in Annual Performance Evaluation with VP of Community Housing Programs and perform annual and as needed performance evaluations on Case Management Team.
- Other duties as assigned by VP of Community Housing Programs.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of program management and development.
- Excellent leadership and people skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication ability.
- Ability to write professional and technical documents.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Ability to plan, implement and follow through on projects relating to the position.
- Maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation in compliance with agency requirements.
- Understand components of low barrier housing model and issues related to homelessness and mental health.
Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years working with individuals who have mental illness
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention training.
- Computer proficient-working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
