FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER – FUNDRAISING & GRANT DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Mommies Make It Better (MMIB) is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers through healing, growth, community, and access to resources without judgment.
We are currently seeking a passionate and committed individual to serve as a Founding Board Member in the role of Fundraising & Grant Development Representative.
What You Would Be Doing
- Research grant opportunities that align with MMIB’s mission
- Assist with grant applications and funding opportunities
- Support fundraising campaigns and initiatives
- Help identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain donor relationships
- Contribute to long-term sustainability planning
- Serve as an ambassador for MMIB within the community

Board Commitment
- Volunteer board position
- Approximately 5–8 hours per month
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Participate in board discussions and voting
- Support organizational growth and sustainability
As MMIB grows and operational systems become established, meetings may transition from monthly to quarterly.

Selected candidates will participate in a board exploration process to determine alignment with the mission, values, and needs of the organization.
