Tikkun Ha-Ir Sunday Community Organizer- GOTV
Organization: Tikkun Ha-Ir in partnership with Wisconsin Interfaith Voter Engagement Campaign
About Tikkun Ha-Ir and WIVEC:
Tikkun Ha-Ir is a Jewish social justice organization, which engages the local Jewish community to be active, thoughtful residents of the Milwaukee area and is currently focussing on voter engagement. THI works in the broader MKE community as a bridge building and coalition partner of voting rights organizations.
As the “cornerstone of democracy,” as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr once said, voting is imperative to creating the world we want to live in and how we want to live in it. Tikkun Ha-Ir proudly serves as a resource, connection, and advocate for voter engagement actions and organizations in the Milwaukee area.
Tikkun Ha-Ir partners with The Wisconsin Interfaith Voter Engagement Campaign (WIVEC) to mobilize diverse faith communities across Milwaukee who engage in the democratic process. As people of faith, we hold the right to vote as a sacred obligation — and we are committed to ensuring all eligible voters can make their voices heard.
