Forward Service Corporation is exploring opportunities to expand our Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) programming in the Milwaukee area. While we do not currently have an immediate opening, we are building a pipeline of talented individuals who may be interested in joining our team as future opportunities become available.

What Does a JAG Career Specialist Do?
JAG Career Specialists work directly with students who may face challenges in academic achievement, graduation, and the transition from school to a career. The role combines classroom instruction, career development, individual support, employer and community engagement, and relationship building.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Implementing the JAG curriculum to help students develop career, employability, leadership, and life skills.
- Recruiting students and building relationships with school personnel, parents, employers, and community partners.
- Creating individualized career development plans for enrolled students.
- Developing and implementing strategies to help students overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
- Connecting students with career exploration, work-based learning, employment, and postsecondary opportunities.
- Serving as a consistent mentor and advocate for students as they prepare for life after high school.
Highlights of Employment at FSC
- Minimum starting wage: $55,000

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license or willingness to work toward licensure
- Experience developing curriculum and/or working in education
- Active driver’s license and ability to meet FSC insurability requirements
- Resourceful, independent, and driven
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A genuine commitment to helping young people succeed
