Building Sustainable Grant Management Practices
Beginning October 8th: the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, in partnership with the UW-Green Bay Nonprofit Education and Development Network, is offering a three-part series, “Building Sustainable Grant Management Practices”:
Many nonprofits recognize the need for stronger grant management practices but struggle to know where to begin. Limited staff capacity, competing priorities, and evolving organizational needs can make it difficult to improve internal systems while continuing to meet day-to-day grant responsibilities. This learning series introduces a practical process for assessing current grant management practices, identifying priorities, and strengthening the systems that support effective and sustainable grant management. Whether your organization is building grant management practices from the ground up or looking to strengthen and standardize what is already in place, this series meets you where you are. Rather than presenting a one-size-fits-all approach, participants will evaluate their current grant management practices, determine what deserves attention first using a triage approach, and develop realistic strategies that reflect their organization’s unique mission, capacity, and resources.
Participant Learning Outcomes:
- Evaluate their organization’s current grant management practices across the full grant lifecycle using a structured self-assessment
- Identify priority gaps and opportunities using a practical triage approach
- Develop a realistic, org-specific Grant Management Action Plan that reflects their organization’s mission, capacity, and resources
- Apply a Continuous Improvement framework to sustain progress beyond the series
This session is open to nonprofits serving communities within Brown, Kewaunee & Oconto Counties, with priority given to organizations that primarily serve these counties.“
