Community Conversation: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Autism

Join Good Friend, Inc. for a conversation on employer understanding of “neurodiversity” as it applies to DEI – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

“About this event

The virtual roundtable will be moderated by Good Friend, Inc. (GFI) co-founders Chelsea Budde and Denise Schamens, both mothers to neurodivergent young adults. GFI board director and autistic and disability advocate Sarah Russell also contributes invaluable perspective to the discussion.

Topics include:

  • The concept of neurodiversity.
  • Why hiring autistic workers is a sound business practice.
  • How Good Friend, Inc. help companies be inclusive of adults on the autism spectrum using best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retention.

If your company would like to enhance its DEI focus, mark your calendar for a casual time of open learning and sharing. Register to reserve your spot for this timely discussion.
