In today’s business world there are many challenges to communication including technology and physical space. This online course will give you the foundational knowledge you need to be an exceptional communicator. Learn to be intentional and influential in your communication so that you can navigate challenging situations and move forward in your growth and in your career.
Through interactive group work, you will learn about your communication style and how to improve communication with your team so you can lead from your current position. Seats are limited for this course in order to provide you with more personalized instruction.
Additional Learning Objectives:
- Understand your communication style and recognize how your style might be perceived by others, especially in times of stress
- Learn how to adjust your communication style situationally to meet the communication needs of others to build stronger, more trusting relationships
- Demonstrate credibility and confidence in leadership communication situations such as influencing others, gaining commitment and sharing information or feedback
- Use active listening and skillful questioning techniques to help team members solve problems, remove performance barriers and improve productivity”
