The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is offering a “Leadership Roundtable: Taking the Suck out of Succession Planning – Building & Retaining Your Leadership Pipeline”:

Strong leadership is essential for a nonprofit to be successful, but cultivating and retaining future leaders requires intention, strategy, and support. Join NPLI and CLA for a dynamic roundtable conversation focused on building and sustaining your organization’s leadership pipeline. This session will offer practical insights and peer connection to help you take the next step in developing your mission’s next generation of leadership.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES INCLUDE: 

  • Understanding the external factors in the current market
  • Impact of the labor market on employee engagement
  • How to drive engagement when the labor market is behaving complacent
  • Assessing critical infrastructure and current workforce capabilities
  • Leveraging technology to drive innovation in the workforce
  • Map and assess mission-critical positions using a structured framework
  • Build and activate a clear succession roadmap

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: 

Nonprofit leaders and board members serving a nonprofit located within NPLI’s service area.

This is a space for nonprofit leaders and board members to learn and have open dialogue. Attendance is capped at 30 people to provide time and space for authentic, peer-to-peer sharing.
