Nonprofit Training: Cultivate a Thriving Workplace

The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is offering “Nonprofit Training: Cultivate a Thriving Workplace”:

Welcome back Tricia Perkins, Senior Strategic HR Advisor, and Jane Clark, Attorney, from Lake Effect HR & Law LLC.

Tricia and Jane have led several NPLI Leadership Forums and always receive high marks for their content knowledge and dynamic presentation style.

Join us for a session focusing on workplace culture. To thrive in the workplace, employees want and need to know what is expected of them, have the opportunity to do what they do best every day, and have someone who encourages their professional development.

Caring for and investing in employees and providing opportunity to learn and grow at work – professionally and personally, fosters a culture which all employees are committed to doing quality work, collaborating to the benefit of the organization, and working to their potential.

Session Highlights

In this half-day workshop, you will learn how to develop a thriving team through informal and formal coaching sessions, succession planning, and engagement and development interviews. You will also be better prepared to identify the right time to coach an employee out of your organization before it negatively impacts your thriving team and to allow the employee continued growth opportunities elsewhere.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone interested in fostering a thriving workplace culture is welcome to attend. This session is tailored for nonprofit staff responsible for setting clear expectations for their team. Board members will also find value in the content as they relate it to their role in supervising their nonprofit’s executive director.”
