Recognizing and Preventing Secondary Trauma
The UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education is offering “Recognizing and Preventing Secondary Trauma”:
“Secondary trauma often happens slowly, starting with compassion fatigue and evolving into burnout and vicarious trauma. Identify your risk factors and then learn how to practice trauma-informed care for yourself and those you serve, plus get tools for building your own resiliency. Only you can prevent secondary trauma, with knowledge and self-care.”
