“Whether filling new positions or replacing people in existing roles, finding people with the right knowledge, skills, and abilities to do important work can be difficult for non-profits. It isn’t as easy as it sounds to build good job descriptions, and it’s even harder to make sure expectations align with available budgets. Often, organizations search talent pools for individuals they can’t afford, end up frustrated with the candidates who respond, and settle” for less than they need. It doesn’t have to be this way, however. There are strategies non-profits can use to help bring in the capabilities to do important work, even with limited funds. This session will walk participants through five key things that will greatly increase the chances of success.”
