The Board Treasurer is responsible for reviewing the financial aspects of the organization, interpreting financial statements, offering financial guidance, and preparing a yearly budget. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the Board Treasurer be located in Southeastern Wisconsin and available to participate occasionally in agency events.

The ACAP board meets 10 times per year (with breaks typically in July and November). In addition to attending ACAP board meetings, the Treasurer leads a monthly finance committee that also meets 10 times per year virtually. The Treasurer also serves on the Executive Committee, which meets ad hoc as needed. Most board and committee meetings are conducted virtually, with some in-person meetings.
