The Civil Engineer performs professional-level engineering work in the planning and design of the City’s Infrastructure; including streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and water systems. Assists in plan review and practices to solve existing or proposed infrastructure issues.
One exciting project the engineering department is working through is the Schoonmaker Creek Watershed Preliminary Engineering Analysis which will lead to numerous future capital improvement projects to mitigate flooding during severe storm events. We are looking to hire someone to assist with these vital drainage projects and other infrastructure improvement projects to boost the quality of life that Wauwatosa offers its residents.
The starting pay for this position ranges from ($66,809.60 – $91,582.40+/- annually), depending on experience and qualifications.
