Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Lead Instructor, the Program Instructor is responsible for providing classroom instruction, leadership, and motivation to Lead2Change students in their assigned sections. Program Instructors will facilitate a weekly 2.5-hour class using the career-readiness Brick by Brick curriculum at designated sites with a class capacity of up to 30 students. This position requires instructors to attend team meetings and events like the Commitment and Completion Ceremonies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct a weekly 2.5-hour class in following Brick-by-Brick curriculum.
- Collaborate with Career Advancement Coach to successfully ensure student completion.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of youth growth and development and create high-quality curriculum instruction by providing a safe, supportive, interactive, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide a positive classroom climate that encourages respect and responsibility and that is characterized by teamwork, camaraderie, and inclusiveness.
- Provide feedback to students that will enhance their academic and professional growth.
- Adhere to specific requirements as dictated, including but not limited to attendance, curriculum schedule, and student concerns.
- Attend required monthly team meetings and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (degree must be granted by the hire date).
- Two or more years of related experience in youth development, education, business management, college and career readiness, or another appropriate field.
- One or more years of supervisory experience with student groups.

Available Class Schedule:
- Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:56 p.m. – 3:20 p.m., Location: GreenTree Preparatory Academy
Compensation:
- This is a contractual position with a monthly payment of $600
