What You’ll Be Doing:
- This role will provide a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of tasks to improve the overall experience and appearance of the zone they are assigned to. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
- Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and/or city information.
- Ambassadors will be responsible for making a specified number of visits to district businesses to share information and make professional contacts.
- Act as the eyes and ears of downtown. While on patrol be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to supervisors via two-way radios. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and locations.
- Remove graffiti and posters from light posts, trash cans, news boxes and other public infrastructures. Includes scraping stickers and taking down flyers. Attention to detail is a must.
- Must be able to provide written reports of broken infrastructure, graffiti on private property, and provide a basic daily report of accomplishments and tasks completed. These reports are often used as a work order for the city and district maintenance personnel. Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.

Requirements:
- Experience preferred, but not required. We will train.
- Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have the physical capacity to walk and/or bicycle continuously during an eight-hour shift, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions (free uniforms provided)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
Compensation: $18.00
