Milwaukee Water Commons is hiring a Climate Sustainability Manager to lead neighborhood-based work with our Branch Out Milwaukee Urban Tree Canopy Project.
This role is rooted in community relationships and environmental justice. The Climate Sustainability Manager will partner with residents to assess, plant, and care for trees, expanding the urban canopy to help reduce flooding, improve water quality, cool our neighborhoods, and strengthen public health.
Branch Out Milwaukee isn’t just about planting trees.
It’s about green infrastructure, climate resilience, and community power taking root block by block.
