Vision

At the heart of Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is the belief that local churches and community organizations play a vital role in extending hospitality to families in facing overwhelming circumstances. Without their partnership, Safe Families cannot thrive. We also believe that broader community organizations are key in addressing the problem of social isolation, child abuse and neglect.

The Parent Partner role exists to ensure these partnerships grow and flourish in a way that truly strengthens our families. This position is crucial to the long-term health and sustainability of our mission.

Parent Leaders are Safe Families parents who are committed to making positive change in their families and communities by using their lived experience in the Family Friend or Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) programs to give back. Warm, caring, and collaborative, Parent Leaders are natural connectors who share resources, offer listening ears, and foster peer support.
