POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Annual Giving leads Seton’s fundraising strategy to grow annual philanthropic support. This role develops campaigns, builds donor relationships, manages data systems, and drives donor acquisition and retention. A major responsibility includes leading Seton’s engagement in the new Federal Tax Credit for Scholarships program in partnership with a Scholarship Granting Organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving plan
- Manage direct mail, digital campaigns, and signature Seton events
- Build and steward relationships with donors; manage a personal portfolio
- Lead staff and volunteers involved in annual giving efforts
- Create and manage donor databases, segmentation, analytics, and reporting
- Oversee the annual giving budget and collaborate with marketing and other departments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful experience in fundraising, preferably in annual giving
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills
- Experience with donor management systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce)
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience preferred
