The Program Director of the Ozaukee Division of Sirona Recovery is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Ozaukee County Treatment Alternatives and Diversion (TAD) program, the Ozaukee County Deflection program, the Teen Intervene program, and Healing Point sober living house. The TAD and Deflection programs are designed to enhance public safety by reducing recidivism through coordinating effective treatment and supportive services and ensuring accountability throughout participants’ participation in these programs. The Teen Intervene program assists youth by addressing their emerging substance use needs, and Healing Point sober house provides stable and affordable housing for individuals committed to their recovery. The Program Director is responsible for supervising staff, managing quality assurance, administrating policies and procedures, and outcome reporting per contractual requirements. The Program Director works both independently and in unison with the administration team in recruiting, hiring, training, and ensuring the program and staff meet established performance outcomes. The administration of the Ozaukee programs requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders and partners to implement evidence-based programming; the ability to problem-solve, collaborate, and take initiative to cultivate and maintain partner relationships are integral characteristics of the ideal candidate for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the behavioral health and justice program contracts within the Sirona Recovery – Ozaukee service range
  • Serve as the main point of contact with Ozaukee County Human Services and other integral county partners
  • Facilitate recruitment, screening, hiring, and performance review of all program personnel
  • Provide consistent training, supervision, and feedback to staff to ensure program measures are met
  • Develop and update program policies, procedures, and forms to meet agency and contractual requirements
  • Update and maintain quality assurance processes that monitor the service provision, appropriate documentation per program requirements, and participant satisfaction
  • Evaluate outcomes based on program performance indicators
  • Submit timely and accurate periodic service reports for programs to contractual stakeholders
  • Complete grant applications and collaborate with administration on budget creation and monitoring
  • Develop working relationships and collaborate with community partners via participation in local coalitions, teams, and committees
  • Serve as the authorized public representative for Sirona Recovery – Ozaukee and deliver presentations to audiences of stakeholders and community groups as needed

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Leadership skills and ability to coach and train staff, build and maintain morale amongst team members, promote strong teamwork, and develop positive working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support staff to provide an inclusive environment for individuals from all economic, ethnic, racial, and LGBTQIA+ identities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of skill in organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to coach staff in strengths-based, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and harm-reduction approaches
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, master’s degree preferred
  • At least five years of nonprofit service, supervisory, and/or program management experience
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance
  • Pre-employment background check
