Summary of Position
We are seeking a skilled and principled bookkeeper to serve as our Financial Administrator. This is a comprehensive role responsible for the full financial life of our church, ensuring our resources are managed with integrity and accuracy.
Responsibilities

Financial Management: Maintain accurate bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconcile accounts.

Payroll & Benefits: Process staff payroll and serve as the liaison for employee benefits.

Reporting: Produce monthly financial reports for the Church Council and work with annual auditors.

Giving Records: Manage member contributions, pledges, and ACH transfers using church management software.
Qualifications

Minimum of two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Proficiency in payroll processing and financial reporting.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and a willingness to learn church-specific software.
Salary & Benefits

Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour.
- Work Environment: This position can be hybrid. While specific weekly tasks require an on-site presence (such as processing physical mail and printing checks for signature), the majority of the financial management, payroll, and reporting tasks can be completed remotely.

Benefits: This is a part-time position (20–25 hours/week) and does not include a benefits package. We offer a professional and flexible work environment.
