This position is a key part of The Difference Principle’s Department of Program Development, Evaluation, and Compliance, a team that provides operational and program development support to the various nonprofit organizations within The Difference Principle network. The person in this role will lead a team of individuals who work closely with network administrators and individual program directors on a range of tasks, fostering a collaborative environment. These tasks include proposal project management, proposal drafting/editing, research, data collection and analysis, reporting, quality assurance, program compliance, new program deployment, network training, and communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily oversight and management of all team members in the Department of Program Development, Evaluation, and Compliance.
  • Project Management for RFP responses and grant applications; responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant/RFP responses that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. Serves as the primary project manager, engages in compliance planning/reporting, and supports special project initiatives. Specifically, ensures that every application/proposal part is assigned to a member of the team, that every part is completed and edited, and that the proposal/application is submitted timely and completely.
  • Project Management for Program Implementation; specifically, create timelines, ensure duties are assigned, schedule implementation meetings, track dates, screen applicants, confirm contract requirements, and facilitate or maintain contact with contract stakeholders.
  • Identify data collection requirements of all programs throughout TDP Network and work with Administrators and Program Directors to ensure accurate and complete data is collected and reported.
  • Understand different data systems and how to extract and report on data from each system. Collect and review individual survey data and report out individually and collectively.
  • Analyze data to capture program activity and trends, promote data-informed decisions, and to ensure that program outcomes are adhering to what is expected of evidence-based practices.
  • Provide program-specific compliance monitoring (thorough training to be provided as needed).
  • Serve as the network Compliance Officer and assist Administrators and Program Directors in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work with Graphic Designer to create data graphics for brochures, reports, and proposals.
  • Review data with stakeholders as requested/needed.
  • Work with network Administrators and Program Directors to develop and deploy quality assurance protocols and practices.
  • Oversight of agency training staff.
  • Along with network Administrators, oversee network communication and public relations strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
  • 3+ Years’ Experience with Grant Writing, Nonprofit Administration, and/or Data Analysis/Reporting required. Note: a writing sample may be required as part of the interview process.
  • Experience developing and implementing communications strategies, including the use of various social media platforms, strongly preferred

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Computer literacy, including working knowledge and experience with Windows and word processing, as well as data entry experience (Microsoft Word & Access)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and train staff, build and maintain morale amongst team members, promote teamwork, and develop positive working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of skill in organization and attention to detail and accuracy, as well as ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines at one time
  • The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with administrators and other department leaders in administration
  • Experience using various social media platforms to communicate brand messaging, network with individuals or organizations supporting complimentary causes, and to identify audiences to whom the network’s services would be beneficial
  • Comfortable interacting with and presenting to large groups of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals from diverse economic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance required
