Position Overview

As the Religious Education and Family Programming Coordinator (REFPC) you spearhead the development and execution of an engaging Religious Education (RE) program serving children, youth, and their families, aligning with our congregation’s mission of fostering spiritual and intellectual growth.

You’ll have the exciting opportunity to evolve our program over the next five years. Initially, focusing on communication and relationship building while moving toward additional programming beyond Sunday classes.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and oversee RE program, attending most Sundays across an 11– month calendar
  • Teach RE classes and assist volunteer teachers
  • Manage records and documentation of programming
  • Source materials within budget limits
  • Recruit and support volunteers, nurturing a cohesive team
  • Attend RE Committee meetings and leadership board meetings 

Qualifications

  • Leadership acumen with strong recruitment and delegation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities across diverse demographics
  • Experience in education or with children
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and the ability to utilize office software suites
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to large groups

Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.50
