Forward Careers is hiring a Career Planner for our nationally recognized NEXT healthcare workforce program in a flexible hybrid work environment. In this role, you’ll coach and support adults as they complete training, secure employment, and build long-term career stability – while making a lasting impact in your community.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Career Planner, you’ll guide participants through every stage of their career journey – from enrollment and goal setting to training completion and employment success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building supportive relationships with participants and helping them navigate career pathways
- Providing ongoing support and guidance throughout participants’ career journeys
- Helping participants identify strengths, set goals, and develop individualized career and training plans
- Providing career coaching, resume support, interview preparation, and job search guidance
- Coordinating supportive services and connecting participants to community resources
- Maintaining accurate case documentation and data tracking
- Collaborating with employers, training providers, and community partners
- Supporting participant success and program goals

- Coaching, mentoring, or advising others
- Recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
- Workforce development or employment services
- Human services or community outreach
- Customer service and relationship-building
- Education, training, or nonprofit work

POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Some occasional evening/community events may be required) Hybrid work options are available after six months of employment.
- Primary Location: West Bend or Waukesha, occasional travel as needed
- Wage Range: Hourly Wage: $20–25/hour based on experience, plus strong benefits, retirement plan, paid holidays, professional development opportunities, and summer hours.
