IDEA in Fundraising – Building Inclusive and Equitable Philanthropy

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Northeast Wisconsin Chapter is offering “IDEA in Fundraising – Building Inclusive and Equitable Philanthropy”:

How do IDEA principals and their significance in fundraising intersect with donors, colleagues and organizational culture. Share ideas and brainstorm with fellow fundraisers in this open forum discussion to share where you and your organization are at on your IDEA journey.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (IDEA) are more than just values – they are essential drivers of meaningful engagement with donors, colleagues, and the broader organizational culture. This roundtable invites fundraisers to explore how IDEA principles intersect with every aspect of fundraising, from donor stewardship and volunteer engagement to team collaboration and organizational practices.

Through this open forum discussion, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and successes in integrating IDEA into their fundraising efforts. Together, we will brainstorm strategies to create more inclusive donor communications, equitable giving opportunities, and a culture that supports belonging at every level of your organization.

This session is designed for collaboration and conversation, so come ready to share your insights, challenges, and real-world experiences. Bring your questions and ideas to the table with peers and experts. We look forward to seeing you there!
