Trinity Fellows are emerging leaders committed to social and economic justice who learn, work, and grow alongside Milwaukee nonprofit organizations and an interdisciplinary cohort of graduate students.
Fellows pursue a full-time master’s degree at Marquette University while working 18 hours per week at a Milwaukee-area nonprofit during the academic year and full-time during the summer.

Eligibility
Applicants must be accepted to an eligible master’s degree program at Marquette University and meet one of the following experience requirements:
- Completion of a full-time service program, such as AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, or another comparable full-time service commitment; or
- At least two years of full-time, post-undergraduate employment in the nonprofit sector.
Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or DACA recipient.
Fellowship Benefits and Fees
The Trinity Fellowship includes:
- Full-tuition scholarship
- Living stipend totaling $37,812.90, paid biweekly in gross payments of $804.53
- $800 in professional development funding
- $1,500 in insurance reimbursement
Together, fellowship benefits exceed $70,000 over the 21-month program.
Fellows are responsible for a $625 participation fee per semester ($2,500 total). Education awards, including the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award and Peace Corps Readjustment Allowance, may be used toward these costs.
