September 24th, online: the Greater Milwaukee Foundation is hosting “Understanding the Social Determinants of Health with Dr. Leonard Egede:”

Learn about the research protocols that are unfolding under Dr. Leonard Egede’s direction at the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Center for Advancing Population Science to better understand and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 among our nation’s most vulnerable populations. Egede will discuss the significant impact of social disparities on a person’s health. 

Egede is a nationally recognized health disparities researcher focused on innovative interventions to reduce health disparities related to race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status and geographic location. His research will play a significant role in framing the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin.
