Wisconsin doesn’t need another rideshare app. It needs a community-run transportation network, and someone with the statewide relationships to build it.
ABOUT BLUEWAY
BlueWay by Brydriver is a technology booking platform. The Wisconsin 80% Project is its statewide, community-run transportation network, built around reliable, affordable rides, a livable wage for local drivers, and a way for community groups to raise funds. The network will grow to include Direct Ride, Community Hop, Pulse, and Pulse Extended. It starts with a shared airport shuttle pilot.
THE PILOT
We’re launching at 25 airport anchors across Wisconsin, connecting passengers to Milwaukee Mitchell, Dane County Regional, Appleton International, and Green Bay Austin Straubel. The service caters to business travelers, hotel guests, visitors, and frequent travelers.
Nonprofit groups provide the rides free, using their own vehicles and volunteer drivers. At each anchor, two groups alternate start times so their vans never overlap: one runs at 4:00 and 8:00 AM, the other at 5:00 and 9:00 AM. A group buys one of those patterns for $399. Each anchor holds two groups, so the pilot can grow to 50.
Vans run Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
TIMELINE
Group onboarding deadline: October 31, 2026 (grace period through November 7)

YOUR ROLE
You bring the network. We’re looking for someone already trusted across Wisconsin’s nonprofit sector, with standing among state-level organizations and local nonprofits alike. You’ll go after the organizations that reach many groups at once, then bring in the individual groups behind them. This search is statewide and open to an individual or an organization.
- Recruit through statewide associations, coalitions, federations, and membership networks, and directly with local nonprofits, civic and service organizations, and community groups.
- Match each group that can field a van and drivers to an anchor and start time.
- Take each group live by collecting and submitting their van details, insurance, and driver information.
- Put your referral code on the onboarding form so each group is credited to you.
- Drive bookings from two weeks out until Monday or Tuesday of each run week, helping groups fill every seat.
Your outreach and onboarding responsibilities wrap up before run days begin.
WHAT YOU’LL TELL NONPROFIT PARTNERS
Use this message in all recruitment, promotion, and booking outreach:
“The rides are free. Donations support the nonprofit’s fundraising efforts and keep rides free for everybody.”
You must explain clearly how BlueWay works. Suggested script:
“BlueWay is just the booking tech. Riders pay a booking fee to reserve a seat. That fee is for technology and platform administration, not the ride, and it isn’t compensation to drivers. BlueWay doesn’t provide rides, own vehicles, or employ drivers. Your nonprofit provides the free ride with volunteers. Donations go directly to your group to support your fundraising. BlueWay does not take the donations. Anyone can ride. Everyone can give. No one is turned away.”
WHO FITS
You speak nonprofit fluently at every level, from a state association to a neighborhood organization. You have working relationships across Wisconsin, a record of steady leadership, and the ability to drive statewide growth cleanly and collaboratively.
