Your analytical mindset will help us see the big picture, ensuring our resources directly fuel our mission. Key Responsibilities

In partnership with the Executive Director and team members, you will champion the financial health of Courage+.

Financial Strategy & Oversight

Analyze & Advise: Review financial statements and cash flow to keep the Board updated on our fiscal health, trends, and long-term sustainability.

Budget Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Director to help shape our annual budget, ensuring our spending aligns with our strategic goals.

Asset & Risk Management: Provide high-level oversight of our insurance coverage, reserve funds, or investments to ensure we stay well-protected and stable.

Be the Guide: Translate financial concepts into clear insights for Board colleagues who may not have a finance background.

General Board Leadership

Attend regular board meetings, committee sessions, and volunteer events.

Engage in long- and short-range strategic planning to champion our mission.

Act as an ambassador for Courage+ in the community.

Qualifications & Mindset

Strong Financial Analytics: A background in finance, corporate accounting, business management, or a highly analytical field where you enjoy interpreting data.

Strategic Thinker: Someone who looks at a balance sheet and sees opportunities, patterns, and forward-looking strategy.

Collaborative Spirit: A welcoming communication style and a willingness to team up with the Executive Director and Board President.

Passion for the Mission: A genuine heart for youth development and community advocacy
