We are looking for a mature individual, experienced in executive level admin support, who wishes to join a team of dedicated, non-profit sector professionals.

Individual must demonstrate high personal accountability, be experienced as described below, and possess/practice excellent/open communication/interpersonal skills.

POSITION TITLE:  Membership/Volunteer Coordinator

REPORTS TO: FBBG President/CEO

HOURS: Salaried/fulltime 30 hours per week in office; 9am-4pm M-F (hours flexible; occasional weekend hours)

  1. MAJOR JOB FUNCTION

Responsible for: general administrative duties: membership processing, database management, volunteer recruitment, memorials under the direction of the CEO.

Individual must be team oriented.

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages membership/data base (donations, mailings, membership materials, special projects/events for members).
  • Facilitates timely processing of memberships – new and renewals.
  • Volunteer program: recruits volunteers, record keeping/reporting (people/hours).
  • Memorials: Interfaces with public for memorial donations/designations.
  • Works with FBBG Accountant furnishing information as needed/requested.

Requirements

  • Proven, high degree of personal accountability and inner drive. Results oriented.
  • Experience in non-profit settings helpful but not required.
  • Individual should be seasoned and experienced in this support category.10+ years optimum.
  • Essential fluency in database management/list merge, Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook
    • Effective time management, follow-through, organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask with a consistently high level of accuracy/detail orientation.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented (proven).
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, car, proof of insurance, and a safe driving record.
